The Slobodkina House Museum was once
the residence of artist/author/illustrator Esphyr Slobodkina.
Although much of the interior furnishings remain the same as they
were in Esphyr’s lifetime, today the walls of the main floor and the
lower gallery exhibit over two hundred works of art hung in salon
style.
Located in a quiet residential area
in the town of Glen Head, New York, The Slobodkina House is open to
the public by reservation only. Since its inception in 2000, we have
welcomed hundreds of visitors. We offer tours and children’s
programs at no charge.
Visiting hours are available 7 days
a week with a reservation. We are open some holidays.
